Mad River

From Hwy 2 eastbound at Coles Corner turn left on Hwy 207 toward Lake Wenatchee recreation area.
Go past the Lk. Wenatchee State Park and cross the Wenatchee River
Turn right onto the Chiwawa Loop Road
Go a couple miles and turn left onto the Chiwawa River Road (a.k.a. USFS Rd. 62)
About 5 or 6 miles down the road is the Alder Ridge Trailhead on your right

Alternately, to get to Goose Creek Campground….
From the Chiwawa River Road turn right about 1 mile after crossing the river and follow the signs to Goose Creek.
