Taneum Junction

On I-90 eastbound continue east past the town of Cle Elum and take the Elk Heights exit #93 Cross over to the north side of I-90 and then turn right at the stop sign. This road follows I-90 eastbound a couple miles and then ends at a T in the road. At the T turn right and cross back over to the south side of I-90. Immediately across the freeway is another T. Turn right here onto the Taneum Road. Taneum Junction campground is about 8 or 10 miles down the road. It is all paved up to the Junction. USFS Rd 3330 is the first major road on the left, go past that about 1.5 miles and then turn left onto USFS Rd. There is a small parking area right there at the Gooseberry trailhead. Veer off to the left into Taneum Junction.

Taneum Junction in the Wenatchee National Forest. Parking or camping there requires a National Forest Pass.

NOTE: Trail maps are available at the ranger station in Cle Elum. Traveling eastbound on I-90 take the first Cle Elum exit, turn left at he stop sign and cross over to the north side of I-90 toward town. The ranger station is across from the Safeway about one half block to the north.
